More than 1,000 customers in the Fairfield, Connecticut, area woke up to no power Wednesday morning.
The two outages in the area impacted the town of Fairfield, Southport, Fairfield University, and the area south of Merritt Parkway.
The United Illuminating Company, which services the impacted area, did not immediately respond to request for comment.
