Six postal trucks burned in a fire at a U.S. Postal Service garage in Manhattan, fire officials said.
The fire broke out at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the third floor of the facility on 11th Avenue in Chelsea, authorities said.
There were no injuries, and no mail was damaged, the postal service said Sunday. Mail service in the area was not expected to be impacted.
The fire was confined to the third floor of the four-story parking facility, the postal service said. When the building is at capacity, it houses 350 vehicles, officials said.
Investigators were working to determine what caused the blaze.
