New details have emerged after a man was arrested in connection with the death of his girlfriend.
The charred body of Paulemont Manuella, also 28, was found on the roof of a Bronx apartment building late Wednesday night. A medical examiner said Thursday that her throat was slashed.
Shadron Rambert, 28, has been charged with burglary and violating a protection order in connection with the case. Rambert could face additional charges.
Rambert's former apartment super knew the couple, and said the suspect was a rowdy person who drank a lot.
"They moved out because they was fighting a lot," Victor Garcia said. "She was trying to get away from him. He was a violent person."
