A police officer was injured by a suspect who is on the run in Brooklyn, cops say.
The unidentified officer suffered a minor injury Thursday morning on Lewis Avenue in Bed-Stuy when they tried to stop somebody, according to police. It was not immediately clear why the officer was trying to stop the person.
The officer was cut somewhere on their body and was taken to an area hospital for treatment, authorities said.
Police are still looking for the person who hurt the officer. Police did not release a description of the suspect they are searching for.
