Person Struck, Killed at Subway Station; Trains Delayed: MTA, FDNY

A person was struck and killed at a subway station in downtown Manhattan, fire officials say.

The FDNY confirmed it was responding to the East Broadway station and the victim was found dead on the tracks.

There are service changes and delays on several subway lines as authorities respond, the MTA says.

Southbound F trains are running on the A line from West 4th Street-Washington Square to Jay Street-MetroTech; others are running on the E line from Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue to Court Square, then running on the G to Bergen Street.

Riders should expect delays on the A, C, E, F and G lines, the MTA says.
