Several subway lines were delayed Tuesday afternoon after a person was hit and killed by a train at the Bryant Park station.
Police say witnesses reported seeing a man in his 30s falling onto the northbound tracks and getting hit by a D train at about 3 p.m. Firefighters said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A message has been left with the MTA.
There was no B service in both directions afterward, and the A, B, C and D lines were experiencing delays. Northbound D trains made stops along the C line from West 4th Street-Washington Square to 59th Street-Columbus Circle, and the M train was running on the J line to Chambers Street.
