Police on Sunday released images of a man they say stabbed a livery cab driver who refused to give him money.
The NYPD images show the suspect inside the livery cab in Brooklyn. They are asking anyone who recognizes him to call 800-577-TIPS.
The suspect entered the livery cab in Bushwick at about 11 p.m. Saturday, police said. He asked for money, then stabbed the driver multiple times, causing the car to crash into a fence, police said.
According to the NYPD, the man - who was wearing a red track suit at the time - stole the driver's cell phone and cash and then ran off. The livery cab driver was hospitalized.
