I was mistreated by everyone from the salesman to the returns clerk to the store manager. I was sold a TV as brand-new, even though the box had been cut open and sealed with Best Buy tape. When I got home I discovered the screen was irreparably damaged. I attempted to return it less than 90 minutes after buying it, only to have the store manager refuse the return because a $10 cable was missing -- unless I agreed to buy another TV immediately, in which case he would waive the missing cable.
Best Buy sold me a shattered $800 TV and tried to stiff me over a $10 cable. As someone who has spent more than $6,000 in the last four years at Best Buy (excluding this purchase), I'd expect just slightly better.
