NYPD Makes Arrest in Serial Robbery Investigation

Police investigating more than a dozen thefts at gas stations, eateries and convenience stores in Brooklyn and Queens arrested a man in connection with one of the incidents, authorities said.

The Queens man was arrested on a charge of robbery in connection with a theft April 3 at a Subway restaurant on Jackson Avenue in Queens, police said.

Police had listed that theft alongside 15 others that took place from March 26 and April 5. In each case, a man made it look like he had a gun, took cash from a register and then ran away, according to the NYPD.

Police are continuing to investigate the remaining 15 incidents, authorities said.
