Police say someone killed a 35-year-old woman before she was found dead in a Brooklyn park on Thursday night — and police are looking for a man seen walking with the woman in surveillance footage released Sunday.
Someone found Jennifer Cohen of Bay Ridge with head trauma inside Owl Head Park, not far from her home, at about 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, according to NYPD.
Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene. They ruled her death a homicide on Friday.
On Sunday, police released surveillance video showing Cohen walking with a man less than seven hours before her body was discovered at the park.
The footage shows the man walking with Cohen down Second Avenue at 2:45 a.m. Thursday.
