Man Believed to be Abducted at Gunpoint Located: NYPD

A man who was possibly abducted at gunpoint by a group of men in a minivan was located Wednesday morning, the NYPD said.

The 33-year-old victim walked into the 45th Precinct station house and appeared to be unharmed, authorities said.

It was not immediately clear how the man escaped, police said.

Police responded to a report of an assault and abduction just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Middletown-Pelham Bay section of the Bronx.

A news reporter told responding officers that an unknown man, in his late teens or early 20s, was seen being abducted at gunpoint on Gillespie Avenue, between La Salle and Waterbury avenues.

The reporter said the man was assaulted and then forced into a silver Chrysler Town & Country minivan by four men, according to police.
