NYC Cops Confiscate 51 Pounds of Marijuana: Police

Police in Brooklyn hauled in 51 pounds of marijuana after two men were seen exchanging suit cases filled with pot while parked in their cars.

Cops were on patrol in Bay Ridge when they saw Adham Deeb, 31, and Majdi Mansoor, 34, parked near 92nd Street and Fifth Avenue at about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, authorities said.

The officers noticed the two men exchange suitcases, went to investigate and smelled marijuana, police said.

During questioning, one of the men admitted the suitcases contained pot, and admitted there was additional marijuana at a nearby home on 28th Street.

Police obtained a search warrant and hauled in a total of 51 pounds of the drug and a small amount of cocaine, police said.

Deeb was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Mansoor was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, police said.
