Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal stabbing in broad daylight in Queens last week.
Police say Fernando Balcarce, of Brooklyn, has been charged with murder, robbery, gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Balcarce is accused of killing 23-year-old Jan Carlos Salcedo on Judge Street in Elmhurston on Thanksgiving Day. The Bronx man was found with a stab wound to his torso. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
It's unclear if Balcarce has an attorney who can comment on the charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
