A plane was hit by a laser as it was flying to LaGuardia Airport Monday night, police said.
The plane reported being hit by a green laser over Scarsdale in Westchester, according to the FAA. The laser was being shot by someone on the ground.
The Westchester County Police Department deployed a helicopter to look for the person who shot the laser.
