A 14-year-old boy who police say carjacked a vehicle in upstate New York with two kids inside is facing kidnapping charges.
The children's mother was standing outside the car when the teen approached, got in and drove away Sunday afternoon in Syracuse.
Police say the mother tried to stop the driver and was dragged. Another car drove in front of the teen to stop the car.
Police say the boy ran but was caught.
The 6- and 7-year-old kids were unharmed. The mother suffered minor injuries.
