Mom in Need of Medication Disappears With Daughter: Police

A woman and her young daughter have gone missing on Long Island, police say.

Karen Tobon, 41, was last seen at an auto repair shop on 149th Street in Whitestone, Queens. She was with her 3-year-old daughter, Leilah.

Tobon was in a 2003 gray Mazda four-door with license plate HAK-7692.

She suffers from a cognitive disorder and is in need of medication, police said.

A missing persons report was filed Monday at 4 p.m. in Manhasset.
