Authorities say an upstate New York man has died after a tractor he was driving rolled over and pinned him underneath.
Cortland County Sheriff's deputies say they responded to a call Thursday about a man stuck under a tractor at a farm in Marathon.
The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports that according to deputies, 41-year-old Reuben Coplentz, of Marathon, was driving the tractor as it pulled a wagon up a slight grade at his farm.
Authorities say family members working on the farm used a jack to lift the tractor and free Coplentz. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Deputies say the tractor didn't have protective roll bar equipment because of its age.
