2 Nurses Struck by Stolen SUV in Bronx

Police say the women, who are nurses, were on their way to work Sunday on Boston Road in Baychester when their car was struck

Two women were seriously injured when a stolen vehicle slammed into their car in the Bronx.      

Police say the women, who are nurses, were on their way to work Sunday on Boston Road in Baychester when their car was struck.      

They were taken to a hospital. The driver suffered hip and arm injuries. The other woman had leg and head injuries.      

Police say the driver of the stolen Dodge Durango had at least seven prior arrests on assault, drug and weapons charges. He was not identified.      

Police said the SUV was stolen from a parking lot in Westchester.
