NBC 4 New York Hosts 2nd Annual Nonstop Day of Giving

Join celebrities, local dignitaries, and business leaders in celebrating the importance of giving back.

The holidays are a time to give thanks and give back, and in that spirit, NBC 4 New York will be hosting the second annual Nonstop Day of Giving on Thursday, Dec. 15.

NBC New York will work with media partners WBLS and WOR-AM to broadcast the day-long telethon, hosting celebrities, local dignitaries, and business leaders as they discuss the importance of giving and volunteerism.

The event will be held at the MSNBC.com Digital Cafe inside 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and air all day on New York Nonstop, the station's digital channel, and at times throughout the day on NBC 4 New York.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to host our second annual Nonstop Day of Giving,” says Michael Jack, president and general manager of NBC 4 New York.  “The success of last year’s campaign, coupled with our influential partners, will give us the momentum needed to build our contributions during this season of giving.”

All proceeds from the telethon will benefit City Harvest, which is the world's first food rescue organization feeding the hungry of New York City.
