NJ Woman Killed in Buffalo Crash Remembered

A New Jersey woman killed in the February crash of Continental Connection Flight 3407 near Buffalo, N.Y. is being remembered this weekend.

About 500 people gathered at the Somerset Hills Hotel Saturday to honor Jean Marie Marzolf Srnecz. The 59-year-old Clinton Township resident was on her way to visit family in upstate New York when she and 48 others were killed when their commuter flight crashed into a home. A man inside the home was also killed.

Srnecz worked as a senior vice president of merchandising at the Bridgewater offices of Baker & Taylor, a wholesale book and entertainment products distributor.

She was remembered as a devoted family woman proud of her farming roots, but whose job let her mingle with famous authors and world leaders.
