Freight Train Derailment Causes Significant NJ Transit Delays

A derailed freight train is causing delays on commuter trains in New Jersey.

New Jersey Transit says a Conrail train derailed near Rahway early Wednesday.

The train was moved shortly before 7 a.m., but delays of up to half an hour in both directions on the busy Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast lines persisted for hours.
