NJ Therapist Charged With Sexually Assaulting Teen Client

A New Jersey therapist is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage client, a spokesperson at the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said Saturday.

Radha Singh, 24, of Hazlet, was arrested Friday on charges accusing her of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old minor to whom she was providing therapy on several occasions from May to July 7, investigators said.

She is charged with second-degree sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

No information was available as to whether Singh has obtained a lawyer who could comment on the charges.

Each charge carries a maximum possible sentence of 10 years in prison, prosecutors say.
