A school teacher was arrested Thursday for allegedly having sexual contact with a 10-year-old student, authorities said.
Edward Clark, 36, allegedly had sexual contact with the young girl while he was a gym teacher at School Number Eight in Paterson, authorities said.
He was charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison, authorities said.
Attorney information for Clark was not immediately available.
