NJ Senate Confirms 5 Cabinet Picks

The state Senate has confirmed five of Republican Gov. Chris Christie's Cabinet picks, nearly all unanimously.

They include Essex County prosecutor Paula Dow as Attorney General; Major General Glenn Rieth as the Adjutant General of New Jersey's Department of Military and Veterans Affairs; Monmouth County administrator Robert M. Czech to head of the Civil Service Commission; and Superior Court Judge Lee Solomon to head of the Board of Public Utilities.

They were all confirmed unanimously.

Former New York State Tax Commissioner Andrew Eristoff was confirmed as the state treasurer by a vote of 37-2.

Cabinet members are paid $141,000 annually.
