A New Jersey man was fatally shot Sunday in his family-owned liquor store in Irvington, police said.
Responding to a report of a shooting at Roseway Liquors and Deli, police found a wounded Amit Patel, 28, of Essex, inside the store, investigators said. Patel, whose father owns the store, died t the scene, they said.
Anyone with information about the 4 p.m. shooting is asked to call the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
