New Jersey Festival Benefits Homeless Veterans in Tri-State

A summer festival in New Jersey is helping homeless veterans in the tri-state for the fourth year.

Vets Summer Fest will include food, live music, a car show, a craft show, a bike run and a kids zone.

The annual event is put on by Operation Chillout, a homeless veterans outreach group.

Operation Chillout says there are as many as 7,500 homeless veterans on the streets of New Jersey alone.

The festival is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 13. It will take place at Vasa Park on Wolfe Road in Budd Lake, New Jersey.

Tickets and information can be found at the Vets Summer Fest and Operation Chillout websites. Vets Summer Fest also has a Facebook page
