Authorities are investigating after one man was shot in the chest and another was grazed in a shooting near a Newark nightclub early Wednesday.
Detectives believe the men were shot after a dispute, though it wasn't clear if they were wounded inside or outside the nightclub, Hawks Lounge on Ninth Street.
The man shot in the chest was taken to University Hospital. Authorities say the person who was grazed may have been driven to a hospital.
The prosecutor's office did not immediately return a phone call.
The investigation is ongoing.
