A tractor-trailer driver died Tuesday morning after his rig overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike, officials say.
The truck overturned on the southbound lanes of the highway near Secaucus at about 6:30 a.m., according to the New Jersey State Police.
The driver was airlifted to an area hospital and was pronounced dead just before 8 a.m.
It’s not clear what caused the truck to overturn.
