New Jersey Cop Engaged Teens in Sexually Explicit Talks: Prosecutor

Prosecutors say a northern New Jersey police officer had sexually explicit online conversations with two teenage girls and sent nude photos of himself to one of them.

Glen Rock Sgt. Eric Reamy faces five counts of child endangerment.

Bergen County prosecutors say the 51-year-old Fair Lawn resident was the Glen Rock department's juvenile officer and was in charge of the detective bureau. At the time the alleged communications occurred, they say Reamy was "investigating and/or supervising" the two girls, ages 14 and 17.

A telephone number for Reamy could not be located Wednesday. It wasn't known if he's retained an attorney.

Prosecutors say Reamy contacted both teens on numerous occasions. He allegedly asked the 14-year-old to send him nude photos and sent her two naked photos "of his private part."

Reamy was arrested Wednesday after a month-long investigation, authorities said. He was being held on $250,000 bail.
