A naked man tackled a woman to the ground and groped her as she walked to her Brooklyn home late on Monday, the NYPD said.
The woman was walking near East 55th Street and Avenue J in Flatlands when the man grabbed her by the neck and threw her down, according to the NYPD.
The nude man then allegedly groped the woman as she tried to fight him off. She was able to break free, and police said the man left the scene.
The NYPD's Special Victims Unit is investigating the attempted rape.
