A Yonkers man has been sentenced for the April 2015 killing of his girlfriend, the Westchester County District Attorney said.

Nathaniel Grant was sentenced to 25 years in state prison Thursday. The 51-year-old pled guilty to one count of manslaughter in the first degree.

Officers from the Yonkers Police Department responded to a 911 call at 5:30 a.m. describing a bloodied, naked man walking down Warburton Avenue on April 1, 2015, authorities said.

Police later learned he walked from an apartment inside building at 53 Glenwood Avenue. Authorities said they found 56-year-old Carol Finch dead when they entered the apartment. Finch was stabbed multiple times in the heart, lungs and liver.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Grant with multiple punctures and cuts on his stomach, legs, arms and hands. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was arrested.

Before officers discoverd the bloodied Grant roaming the streets, neighbors said they heard a commotion coming from Finch's apartment.

Grant was remanded to the New York State Department of Corrections.
