A 38-year-old mother has admitted to smothering her 1-year-old child in the restroom of a Manhattan burger restaurant.

Latisha Fisher on Monday pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2015 death of her son, Gavriel Fisher.

Authorities say Fisher was arrested after she was discovered in the bathroom of 5 Boro Burger holding her son who was foaming from the nose and turning blue.

Fisher, who suffers from schizophrenia, told police the devil made her do it. She claimed she was protecting her son by putting him to sleep with her hand.

The mother had brought her son into the bathroom at the eatery; the two were locked inside for about 25 minutes before concerned customers contacted restaurant workers, who used a key to get in. The employees found the unconscious toddler on his mother's lap and called 911.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in cardiac arrest and died, police said.

Her lawyer didn't immediately return a request for comment.

As part of her plea deal she's to be sentenced to 18 years in prison when she's due back in court Nov. 20.

The father of the baby told News 4 at the time that "it's a nightmare" and that he was shocked Fisher could do that to their son.
