Missing Long Island Boy Found with Family in Orange County

A 13-year-old Long Island boy who's been missing for five days was found with family in an Orange County village, police said Saturday.

Amari Young left his New Cassel home early Monday morning without leaving behind a note or explanation. He took just a few items of clothing, but no money and no phone.

He was located in Montgomery, about 60 miles northwest of New York City.

There had been two sightings of Amari since Monday, once at his middle school and another time at a park near his home. But cops never found him.

Nassau County police released no details about how the boy was located or why he left home.
