Search for Missing Hoboken Man Expands to Hudson River

Police now say Andrew Jarzyk was seen jogging near the river

Police have expanded their search to the Hudson River as they look for a 27-year-old man who disappeared after a night out with friends at a Hoboken, N.J., restaurant.

Relatives say Andrew Jarzyk was with friends at the West Five Supper Club on Madison Street Saturday night. Around 1 a.m. Sunday, he apparently told them he would be right back and never returned.

Police said Tuesday that he was last seen a little while later jogging in exercise clothes about 12 blocks away, near the river. Authorities are searching the water and shoreline.

His sister-in-law told NBC 4 New York Jarzyk works for a local bank and is a responsible young man.

Jarzyk is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, 160 pounds with blond hair, blue eyes and a cross tattoo on his chest.
