Police say two restaurant workers were robbed and slashed by two knife-wielding suspects in midtown.

The workers from Vnyl restaurant near 51st Street and Ninth Avenue were approached by the robbers at about 6:30 a.m. Monday, according to police.

The suspects demanded cash, and got into a struggle with the two men.

One victim, 24, was slashed on the wrist and the other, 22, was cut on the face. The robbers fled with their cash, police said.

Police released surveillance images of the suspects (above) and ask anyone with information to call 800-577-TIPS.
