Mercy College Campuses Reopen After Threat

Officials say all four campuses of Mercy College have been reopened after a threat forced evacuations.

College spokeswoman Catherine Cioffi said the campuses in Westchester, the Bronx and Manhattan were evacuated around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Evening classes and activities at the university were also canceled.

Law enforcement responded and cleared all campuses. The threat was found to be unsubstantiated.

The campuses will reopen Wednesday as usual.

Officials have not provided details about the nature of the threat.
