Cops are looking for a trio of elaborate thieves who allegedly stole nearly $100,000 worth of high-end watches and one wedding band from people within a span of six weeks, targeting gyms and hotels primarily in the heart of Manhattan.
Authorities say at least seven grand larcenies are linked to the three men -- the first was May 3 and the most recent was June 19. Three of the cases involved gyms on Wall Street, Park Avenue and Broadway. In those cases, four Rolexes, two Tag Heuer watches, a Patek Philippe watch and an Audemars Piguet watch were stolen from locked lockers in the men's section.
The other four cases targeted victims at luxury hotels -- including the Peninsula on Fifth Avenue and the Parker New York Hotel on 56th Street. More watches were taken in those cases, along with one man's wedding ring. Nine victims, all men, were reported in total in the seven cases. No one was hurt.
Police released surveillance images of at least two of the men (above).
