A couple sleeping in their Westchester home awoke to find two masked men inside, prompting a physical confrontation before the intruders ran off, police say.
The husband and wife were in bed when they heard men running through the home at about 2:15 a.m., according to police.
They confronted the suspects and got into a physical altercation with them, police said. The men then fled the home.
Police say they're searching for the suspects, and brought in a K9 unit to track them.
The homeowner on Berwick Road told News 4 he was shaken up but grateful that no one was hurt.
