Crews Respond to Blaze at High-Rise in East Harlem: FDNY

Firefighters responded to a blaze at a high-rise in East Harlem on Friday morning, officials say.

The fire was reported on the 17th floor of the building on Lexington Avenue and East 109th Street just before 10 a.m., according to the FDNY.

No injuries were reported and it was brought under control within a half-hour.

One woman said she was at home with her son and woke up to smoke.
