One person was taken to a hospital in critical condition after plunging from a hotel in Chelsea Tuesday morning, fire officials say.
Authorities responded to the Hilton Garden Inn on West 28th Street near Sixth Avenue after getting a call shortly after 8:30 a.m.
Police said later Tuesday it appeared the person had jumped.
The investigation is ongoing.
