Man, Woman Found Shot to Death in Parked Car in Brooklyn: Police

Two people were discovered dead inside a parked car after an early-morning double shooting in Brooklyn, police say.

The two victims were sitting in a red Dodge Durango in the area of 865 Cleveland St. in East New York around 4:30 Friday morning when an unknown man walked up and started shooting, according to police.

After the shots rang out, the man ran away.

Both victims, 27-year-old Devon Hannibal of Brooklyn and 23-year-old Christina Stubbs of Pompano Beach, Florida, were pronounced dead on arrival, officials said. The relationship between the victims was not immediately known.

The pair were the intended targets in what police called a "walk-by shooting." Hannibal was found in the driver's seat, while Stubbs was found in the passenger's seat.

Chopper 4 was over the scene and video showed heavy police activity around the Dodge Durango.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
