Police are looking for a man who attempted to rape a woman as she walked into her Bronx apartment last month.
The 27-year-old victim was walking to the door of her home on Andrews Avenue in Morris Heights around 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 24 when the man followed her inside, the NYPD said.
When they reached the fourth-floor landing, the man choked the woman and kissed her on the lips, according to police. He then touched her body over he clothing and pulled her hair as they struggled.
The suspect fled soon after.
The woman refused medical attention.
Police say the suspect is between 14 and 20 years old and has a “Caesar” haircut. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
