Authorities reissued their call Monday for help finding the enraged subway rider law enforcement sources say pulled a knife on another man and threatened to kill him after the man admonished him for hitting his child last month.

The 45-year-old victim was riding an uptown E train in Manhattan with his wife and 4-year-old daughter mid-afternoon on June 24 when he saw the other rider hit his own child, who was riding in a stroller, the law enforcement sources said.

After the 45-year-old father expressed disapproval, the passenger started to threaten him, police said.

“It’s my kid — worry about your f---ing kid,” the passenger told the man at some point during the dispute, according to law enforcement sources. "I will kill you on this train."

“I promise you I will change your life," the rider added.

Video taken inside the subway car shows the rider with the stroller pull out a knife and shout as he holds open the train doors.

The passenger spits at the 45-year-old man just before exiting the train, the video shows.

On Sunday, the man told News 4 he and his family were on an outing to get ice cream when the squabble happened.

"We made eye contact and he says, 'Why are you looking at me?' And used f-words. And I said, 'You shouldn't hit your kid. It's unnecessary,'" the man said.

The knife-wielding passenger was last seen wearing a red shirt. Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call police.
