A Greyhound bus driver was threatened by a man with a knife aboard a bus Friday, Port Authority police said.
Witnesses told police that the suspect was acting erratically, shouting and wielding a red box cutter when he threatened the bus driver near the Lincoln Tunnel at about 5:15 p.m. Friday.
Port Authority officers boarded the bus, ordered the man off and struggled with him as he resisted arrest, authorities said.
The officers recovered a red box cutter and placed the 32-year-old man under arrest, police said.
He was arrested on a number of charges, including resisting arrest and unlawful possession of a weapon.
