A man grabbed an iPhone out of the hands of a subway rider, then used it to snap a shirtless selfie, police said.
The suspect grabbed the phone out of the 30-year-old victim's hand while she was on the L train in Bushwick heading to Manhattan at about 1:30 a.m. last Thursday, police said.
He then ran out of the Morgan Avenue subway station and has not been captured, authorities said.
But, police now have his picture because he used the phone to snap a selfie photo of himself without his shirt, authorities say. The photo was posted to the victim's iCloud account and turned over to the NYPD.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call NYPD's crime stoppers hotline at at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
