The boyfriend of a New Jersey night club manager whose dismembered remains were found in a New York City waterway stalked her for two weeks before killing her, authorities say.
The details came out during Raphael Lolos' first court appearance on Wednesday, according to The Record. Lolos was arrested last week and charged with killing Jennifer Londono. His lawyer entered not guilty pleas on his behalf.
The 31-year-old Edgewater woman's partial remains were found June 27 in the Red Hook Channel in Brooklyn. She was identified through a Sanskrit-language tattoo just below her hip.
He also faces counts of desecrating human remains, hindering apprehension, stalking and credit card fraud. Authorities say the 40-year-old Bergenfield man used her credit cards until he was arrested July 6 in Linden.
