A 20-year-old man was shot and killed on a Queens street corner Saturday afternoon, police say.
Jerrel Lewis was shot in the torso at the corner of 36th Avenue and 14th Street near the Ravenswood Houses shortly before 4 p.m., according to police.
Mamadou Barry said he heard a “boom, boom, boom,” and ran outside to find Lewis on the ground, fighting for his life.
Lewis was later pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital. Police aren’t sure whether or not he was the intended target.
No arrests have been made.
