A man has been gunned down on a Long Island street three blocks from a police station.
Suffolk County police are looking for suspects after gunfire rang out around 4 a.m. Saturday on Kellum Street in West Babylon.
Officers found 32-year-old Michael E. Sinclair of Brooklyn lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at a hospital soon afterward.
Detective Lt. Jack Fitzpatrick says investigators don't know why Sinclair was at the site of the shooting, a residential block near the police force's First Precinct building.
