Man Attacks 11-Year-Old Boy in Park: Police

A man attacked and sexually assaulted an 11-year-old boy in the Bronx, demanding money and pulling his pants down, authorities said.

Police released new video of the suspect on Sunday.

On Tuesday afternoon, a stranger approached the boy on Magenta Street and White Plains Road, where he grabbed him from behind and demanded money, police said. The attacker stated that he had a knife and took the boy to Bronx Park, police said. He forced the victim to the ground and pulled the boy's pants down, police said. The boy fought his way free and the attacker fled.
