A 67-year-old man was punched in the face by a stranger in Chelsea in broad daylight, police say.
The victim was leaving the 14th Street station at the corner of East 16th Street and Sixth Avenue on the afternoon of Dec. 14 when the suspect came up to him and punched him in the face.
The suspect then ran away, police said.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Police say he didn’t know the man who punched him.
